Privacy Notice

Information we may handle

Depending on features you use, the service may handle your email address, account credentials, username, community posts, trusted-contact details, notification choices, and location information you explicitly request or share.

How it is used

Information is used to authenticate your account, save safety plans, show local alerts, support features you enable, moderate community content, and protect the service. We do not need your exact location to show general public storm information.

Your choices

Browser location, microphone, notifications, and location-sharing permissions are optional and controlled by you. You can stop sharing through your account or device settings. Do not share a location you do not want stored or delivered.

Security and retention

Accounts use server-side authentication and protected database access. No online service can promise absolute security. Keep your password private and report suspected misuse. Retention, deletion, data-access requests, children's privacy, and regional privacy rights should be finalized with legal counsel for the operator's actual business and jurisdiction.

Third-party services

Maps, weather providers, hosting, analytics, authentication, and message-delivery providers may process limited information according to their own notices. Review the provider links before relying on any feature.
