Safety and legal information
Use official sources first
This site is a convenience layer. NOAA/NWS, the National Hurricane Center, local emergency management, 911, shelters, healthcare providers, and law enforcement remain the authoritative sources for urgent decisions.
Accessibility and continuity
Pages use responsive layouts, readable labels, keyboard-friendly controls, alternative text, and public data sources where available. If the site or internet is unavailable, use local radio, official emergency broadcasts, 911, 211, and local public-safety channels.
Hosting and scaling
The deployment host provides CDN delivery and elastic infrastructure for ordinary traffic spikes. Availability is not guaranteed during a disaster, and this site does not replace an emergency alert system. Critical instructions should never depend on this site alone.
Review before launch
These notices are a transparent starting point, not a legal opinion. A qualified attorney should review privacy, terms, accessibility, child-safety, emergency communications, location consent, messaging, and any SMS or email compliance obligations before public launch.
